From Fitness Coach To Transformation Mentor

Why I'm No Longer Just a Fitness Coach

If you've followed me for a while, you've probably noticed that my content has changed quite a bit over the last few years. When I first started in the fitness industry, my focus was very clear. I wanted to help people get fitter, lose weight, build confidence and create healthier habits. I absolutely loved seeing people transform physically and I still do.

What I didn't realise at the time was that fitness was often just the doorway into something much bigger. Over the years I've worked with thousands of people and what fascinated me most wasn't the weight they lost or the muscles they built. It was the conversations that happened along the way. People would join because they wanted to lose a stone, but six weeks later we'd be talking about their confidence, their relationships, their career, their stress levels or the fact they felt completely disconnected from themselves. The more people I worked with, the more I realised that very few people actually have a fitness problem. Most people have a life problem that eventually shows up in their health. They know they should exercise. They know they should eat better. They know they should drink more water and get more sleep. We live in a world where information is everywhere. The challenge isn't knowledge. The challenge is implementation. The challenge is self-belief. The challenge is becoming the person who consistently follows through.

That's where my own journey started to evolve.

As I developed as a coach, I became increasingly interested in human behaviour. Why do some people create lasting change while others keep repeating the same patterns? Why do some people thrive after setbacks whilst others stay stuck? Why do intelligent, capable people continue to doubt themselves even when they know exactly what they need to do?

These questions led me into mindset coaching, neuroscience, behaviour change and eventually lifestyle coaching. I started to understand that transformation isn't something that happens in the gym. The gym is simply one place where transformation can begin.

What really changes a person's life is self-trust. It's the ability to make a decision and back yourself. It's the courage to have a difficult conversation. It's setting boundaries when you've spent your entire life pleasing everyone else. It's starting something before you feel ready. It's choosing yourself after years of putting everyone else first. These are the things that create lasting change.

This is also why I've become so passionate about lifestyle coaching. For me, lifestyle coaching isn't about telling somebody what to do. It's about helping them create alignment between who they are today and who they want to become. It's helping them identify the habits, beliefs and behaviours that are keeping them stuck and then supporting them as they build something new.

Sometimes that involves fitness. Sometimes it involves relationships. Sometimes it's career. Sometimes it's confidence. More often than not, it's a combination of all of them because life doesn't exist in neat little boxes. Everything affects everything.

Over the last few years I've also explored energy work, breathwork, meditation and nervous system regulation. I know these subjects aren't for everyone, and that's completely okay, but I've seen first hand how powerful they can be. Many people spend years trying to think their way out of problems when the reality is their body is carrying stress, tension and emotional weight that needs addressing too.

The way I see energy work isn't as something mystical or separate from everyday life. For me, it's about awareness. It's about slowing down long enough to listen to yourself. It's about recognising what you're carrying, what you're holding onto and what you're ready to let go of. Whether that's through Arcturian Frequency, breathwork, Kundalini, or simply creating space to reflect, the intention is always the same. To help people reconnect with themselves.

That's why GLC Online has evolved too.

When people look at it from the outside, they might see workouts, food plans and fitness classes. Those things are still there and they're still incredibly valuable. But what we've built has become so much more than a fitness app. It's a community. It's a support system. It's a place where people can work on their health, their mindset, their confidence and their personal growth all under one roof.

What excites me most these days isn't helping somebody lose a few pounds. It's watching somebody start believing in themselves again. It's seeing someone finally set a boundary they've avoided for years. It's helping someone leave a job they hate, start a business they've dreamed about or simply wake up feeling excited about life again.

Fitness will always be part of who I am. I believe movement is one of the most powerful tools we have for improving our physical and mental wellbeing. But I've come to realise that the strongest transformations don't happen because somebody follows the perfect workout plan. They happen because somebody decides they're no longer willing to stay where they are.

That's the work I love.

Helping people create change. Helping people trust themselves. Helping people build a life they're genuinely proud of.And if my content has felt different lately, that's why. I'm not moving away from fitness. I'm simply moving closer to what I've always been helping people do.

Transform their lives.

Love
